Hey all, Thank you so much for being patient with me!! I have been letting the babies outside for the past few days and they absolutely love it! When I go out to feed all the does and to just check on all of them, they bounce all over and are super friendly! They all just got disbudded early Saturday morning. I finally found some time to go out and take pictures of the kids! In all the pictures, you will see little silver circles on their heads. Those are just where their horns were, and that was the mark left behind. When they grow older, the silver will come off and their hair will grow over their little "shaved" heads. Ok, now for the pictures... Above is Sage. (FYI, I used no filter on her pics)She is one of Nutmeg's babies. She is very photogenic and is one of our most friendly goats. She is reserved. Below is Sage's sister Hazel. She is super sweet, and is also reserved. Below is Dolly, she is also reserved and she has blue eyes and moon spots. Below is Dolly's sister Emery. (Both are Tip-It's babies) She is reserved already, and has beautiful blue eyes, and her body color matches her mother's. Below is Cleo. Her mother is Eddie, and she has one sibling who is a brother. They are both for sale. If you are interested, please email me, I will be posting them soon though. They both has very sweet personalities, and they both have blue eyes. Cleo is a very pretty tri-colored doe. (Below) Last but defiantly not least, is Caspar. He is a gorgeous all white buckling with blue eyes (like his mother!) He is also not reserved yet, but I will be posting him with Cleo. His personality is super close to Cleo's, but he loves to be scratched on the back.(Just like Timothy) He and Cleo are also pretty close as in, Cleo will follow Caspar anywhere, and everywhere. Thank you so much again for visiting my blog, and come back soon, for new updates, info, and pictures! If you are interested in either Caspar or Cleo, or both, (Which would be great!) please email me. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions too! Also, comment down below, if you enjoyed my little introduction! (and/or pictures :) -Miriam S.

These are some of the babies!! I don't have pictures of the triplets yet, but I will post some soon! Also, unfortunately the very smallest of the triplets born on 2/16/18 did not make it. (She died on 2/18/18) The other babies are doing just fine and progressing normally. The tiny baby's name was Pippi. She just got very weak and I wasn't able to tube feed her in time. So as for right now I have two babies left for reservations. One all white buck with blue eyes and one tri-colored doe with blue eyes. (they are both siblings) I will be asking just $275 per (blue eyed) baby. Please come back and look for upcoming pictures on the triplets (born 2/16/18) and contact me if you would like to reserve any of them. thanks!
-Miriam S. Hey All,
Thanks so much for being so very patient with me through kidding season, and I was right.....It is VERY chaotic!! I have eight babies on the ground now, including seven week old Timothy!! I have two bucks and six does! Also, last night at around 9:00PM Eddie had triplets. They are all VERY small, but are doing ok. There is one that I have to keep a super close eye on because it is two times smaller that its other brother and sister. I had to syringe colostrum into her mouth, because she was so weak. She couldn't even keep her head up. After two hours she started to drink just a little then she tried to get up, but its back legs weren't working, so it just flopped back on the ground. Then her mom almost didn't except it, and the other two babies still weren't drinking. After tree hours of trying to keep all three alive, the two finally started to nurse, and the little one got to stand up. Wat a miracle! And, she made it through the night. what a little fighter! I will just have to keep an eye on him and make sure he is getting enough to eat. LITTLE TRICKS: (If you are ever in a situation like or close to that, which I hope you all never have to be in) *Remember to keep the babies temp up to normal (102 - 103 degrees F) Like, actively warm it up with blow dryers and towels and heat lamps. If you keep it up next to your body it will not help because our natural body temp is lower than theirs. *Rub the baby in circular motions. It helps to stimulate it, and make it want to get up and nurse. Try to get the mamma to except it's baby. *Try to keep the baby with its mom as much as possible, so that they can bond (even if the baby is weak, and can't do much) *You can also try to feed the baby some of IT'S MOM'S colostrum. The reason I underlined and bolded "it's mom's" is because if you feed the baby other goats milk, when the milk passes through the baby's body, it (the baby) will smell differently, and the mom might reject her baby. But is just up to you if you want to risk that. * If your baby is still not standing, but you can tell it is trying to, take some pure natural maple syrup and put it on your finger. Then rub your finger (with the male syrup on it) on the baby's gums. This should give the baby a boost of energy and help it stand up. (I did this twice to my little doeling and she finally was able to stand up. It helps a lot) *LAST ONE..... NEVER GIVE UP!!! I almost gave up so many times on my baby because I though she was going to die anyway. But NEVER loose hope! PLEASE!! Thanks for reading my very long post! -Miriam S. I will try to get pictures in soon, but Tip-It had twin does!! She delivered them without any problems on February 11. The little girls are doing well, and have great markings. They are already reserved, and they are going to the same home. There is an all white one that looks just like her mom, minus the brown moon spots. Although, there is a very good chance she could develop them later.(Just like Tip-It did) The other doeling is multicolored but mostly brown. She has moon spots! And they both have blue eyes! (The mostly brown one has white moon spots.) That probably made absolutely NO sense, but I will defiantly send pictures soon! ALSO.....
Nutmeg had twin does on February 13! They are both doing great, and they have long legs and floppy ears! I will also post pictures of them soon. I am still waiting for Eddie to have her babies, but they will come soon, and I think she is going to have twins too! I might have someone already interested, but I will let you know if they are available or already reserved. Please contact me if you are interested in any of the upcoming babies, and I will but you on my waiting list! I will keep you all posted! -Miriam S. Timothy is officially turning 6 weeks old TODAY!!! Wow, that time really flew! I remember the day when he was born! What a great moment! He has grown into such a great little boy, very friendly. He is Dam raised (I try to get all our babies Dam raised) and I am trying to get him (Dam) weaned. If he is not weaned by 9 weeks, I will interfere and wean him myself. Also, he found an owner!! Or, an owner found him. Either way when he is ready, he will be moving on and he will be able to get loved by in his new owner! I am so happy for Timothy and his new owner! I will try to post pictures soon!
