Hello!
Ever sense last week I had been trying to get the babies into the vet to get dehorned and they finally called me last minute yesterday and asked if I could drop by. So on such short notice I went out, grabbed all the babies and just stuck them in the back of my truck! They all had fun jumping on all the seats but we made it there and back and they are all healing and doing well this morning! Here are a few pictures of the little ones in the back of the truck:

Hey!
When the triplets were about a day old I let them outside and took some pictures of them and thought I'd share! The black and white one is also still up for sale! -Miriam S. Hello!
The babies are here! Little bit of a late post, but Monet's babies are about two weeks old now and Minnie had twins that are just aver a week old! Monet had beautiful triplets and everything went smoothly! She had one buckskin doeling, Lola (who I am keeping), a black doeling, Leah, and a black and white Buckling, Leo. Minnie had two babies that look just like her and are the cutest things ever! She delivered with no problems and is doing well! Her little doeling is Bell, and her little buckling is Chip. I took the babies to go visit some school kids at a local school for "goat day" and the fifth graders named the little boy chip because they said he looked like a chocolate chip! As of right now the two bucklings are the only ones available! I will wether them at 7 weeks old unless the buyer asks for them to be kept intact. They will all be going in tomorrow for their dehorning and at 3 weeks old I will be giving them their first round of CD&T shots. Lil' Faye and Eddie are due any day now and I am taking reservations for their little ones already! If you are interested in a baby or have any questions feel free to email me and I will be more then happy to help you out! Here are some pictures of the babies... Hello! Monet has been getting so huge in the past few weeks and her official due date is tomorrow, the 11th so I was expecting them to come last night but she is still keeping them in! She's doing very well and the babies will come when everyone is ready but here are a few pictures of the big mommas from last night. . . I'll post again when the babies come so keep an eye out for that post! And if you are interested in a baby let me know!
-Miriam S. Hello!
One more week until the first doe is due!! I am very excited to see the offspring of this year because I will most likely be using a different buck next year and I might keep one of these does to breed in the fall but we will see! There are some pictures of the mamma's who are just about ready to pop! Happy spring everyone!
Everyone on the farm is doing well! They are all healthy and getting bigger! Monet is looking quite big but she is still able to run around so far! The first due dates for my does are early May so we have about one more month to go before the little ones start to arrive! If you are interested in hopping on the waiting list for the kids just send me an email and I will be more then happy to add you! Have an amazing day! -Miriam S. Hello and Happy New Year!
Mr. Boo has arrive at the farm and I have already put him on his "dates" with my girls and so far I have three does bred! I am only breeding four this year so I am just waiting to breed Miss Faye and then I will send Boo on his way back to his farm! The girls will be due mid-April to late May and I am expecting around 8 babies this year! I am going to start taking reservations for these little ones soon! If you would like to see what patterns my girls might throw feel free to visit my "April and May 2020" page in the Archives so see past kids! Here are a few pictures of Boo: (he is wet in these pictures because it was snowing when I moved him from the outside into the barn) Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I realized I haven't posted in quite some time so I decided to pop in and update you all!
I talked with my other breeder friend who I usually lease a buck from for the winter and we will be having one of her little guys out here pretty soon! I am hoping to get him scheduled to come out mid December for Spring babies in April/May. I will be breeding only four does this year, but am looking into expanding my herd and buying at least two more does in the spring! I am very excited for this as I haven't gotten any new additions to the herd in almost three years! I have also prepped all my does for breeding season with their CD&T shots, wormers, and nicely trimmed hooves. They are just waiting for Boo (their buck this year) to come for a visit! Thank you for reading and I will update soon! -Miriam S. Hey guys! Here are some of the pictures I took in the past week of the little goat kids! I also just gave them their 2nd CD&T booster shot a few days ago. For those of you who do now know what the CD&T shot and why it is important here is an article that explains it perfectly: https://morningchores.com/cdt-vaccine/ -Miriam S. Hello there!
We have a new little doeling! Eddie has had twins, but unfortunately only one doeling made it. She is very cute and is a light buckskin with blue eyes! She was born on Sunday, so May 9th. I will upload pictures of all the littles on this weekend so make sure to check back on the blog! -Miriam S. |
